About the Role
As a Quality Assurance Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the Quality Assurance Department, ensuring compliance with food safety and quality programs, conducting audits, and leading continuous improvement initiatives. You will collaborate with senior management to maintain the Food Safety & Quality System and ensure the quality and safety of products throughout the manufacturing process.
About You
Required:
- Bachelor's degree in food science, food engineering, biology/microbiology, or chemistry; or equivalent experience in Food Safety & Quality Assurance.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in food manufacturing Quality Assurance management.
- 3-5 years of general management experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong leadership and management skills.
- Ability to perform college level mathematical and statistical calculations.
Preferred:
- Knowledge of food plant sanitation and laboratory techniques.
- Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in computer systems and applications.
