Summary
XP Power is seeking a Quality Control Inspector to join their team in High Bridge, NJ. The role involves ensuring products meet defined standards through visual inspections and collaboration with various teams.
About the Role
As a Quality Control Inspector, you will be responsible for inspecting incoming materials, in-process assemblies, and final products to verify compliance with specifications. Your duties will include recording findings, maintaining quality data, escalating non-conformances, and collaborating with production, engineering, and quality teams to prevent defects.
About You
Required:
- High School graduate or equivalent.
- Ability to communicate effectively in English (verbal and written).
- Ability to read and understand mechanical drawings and Bills of Material.
- Experience using micrometers, dial calipers, and other measuring tools.
- Strong soldering skills.
- Ability to lift 50 pounds.
Preferred:
- Experience with IPC-610 and 620 workmanship standards.
- Strong work ethic, good judgement, and attention to detail.
