First Quality is seeking a Quality Engineer to join their team in Houston, TX. The role involves implementing and maintaining quality systems and tools, ensuring compliance with quality control standards.
About the Role
As a Quality Engineer, you will define and audit the quality control plan, collaborate with cross-functional teams to prioritize projects, evaluate current quality methods, report significant issues, and become proficient in various business systems used at First Quality.
About You
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering discipline or a technical field with 2 years of quality or manufacturing experience.
- Ability to communicate effectively in English, both written and spoken.
Preferred:
- Three or more years in quality or manufacturing engineering.
- Advanced degree in Analytics and/or ASQ CQA or CQE certification, and/or Lean or Six Sigma certification.
- Experience in technical problem solving, statistical analysis, and quality auditing.
