Summary
Topre America Corporation is seeking a Quality Engineer (QE) for their facility in Cullman, AL. The role involves managing and developing a Quality System to comply with customer requirements and improve quality levels.
About the Role
As a Quality Engineer, you will be responsible for tracking quality issues, coordinating quality activities, and maintaining compliance with ISO9000. Your daily tasks will include creating automated systems, interpreting CMM and scan data, and supporting the installation of mechanical and controls upgrades. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality production assembly and manage quality records and documentation.
About You
Required:
- 2 years experience as a Quality Engineer or Quality Supervisor in a Manufacturing/Assembly environment.
- 4-year Engineering Degree in any Engineering Field or Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) Designation.
- Strong root-cause analysis skills and critical thinking skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Preferred:
- QE experience with Nissan or OEM.
- Background in Metal Stamping Quality.
- Understanding of ANPQP system and requirements.
- Knowledge of 3D CAD and its application for product measurement.
