The role involves assisting in the development, implementation, and evaluation of quality processes and procedures for the Actinide Analytical Chemistry Group.
About the Role
As a Quality Engineer for C-AAC, you will work with Subject Matter Experts to develop and implement protocols ensuring compliance with laboratory quality standards. Your responsibilities will include assisting in the accreditation of ISO 17025, conducting internal assessments, and providing leadership and mentorship within the quality team. You will also work collaboratively to improve operations and ensure that analytical data quality meets customer expectations.
About You
Required:
- Bachelor's degree in engineering/science, QE/Quality Assurance, or Industrial Systems Engineering with a background in chemistry.
- Quality Engineer 1: 2 years of related experience; Quality Engineer 2: 5 years of related experience.
- Knowledge of chemistry laboratory analytical quality assurance/control.
- Knowledge of ISO 17025, NAP 401.1, and NQA-1 protocols.
Preferred:
- Background in quality applications in Analytical Chemistry or highly regulated laboratory environments.
- Certifications in Quality Auditing techniques and Quality Engineering.
- Knowledge of lean six sigma techniques and other process improvement techniques.
- Active Q clearance.
