Summary
Abracon is seeking a Quality Engineer to join their team in the Austin, Texas Metropolitan Area. The role involves developing and implementing quality control guidelines and policies, supporting internal and customer initiatives, and improving processes across the organization.
About the Role
As a Quality Engineer, you will be responsible for planning and coordinating Supplier Quality improvements, working on product testing and troubleshooting, delivering Root Cause Corrective Action reports, and supporting international regulatory compliance. You will also train company employees on ISO 9001 certification management and facilitate cross-functional team meetings for project management.
About You
Required:
- Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or Electrical Engineering.
- 24 months of experience working with ISO requirements and audits.
- Experience in process development and electronic components industry.
- Project management experience and working as a trainer/instructor in a technical or science field.
Preferred:
- Experience in PCB and box build assembly.
- Knowledge of international regulatory product compliance.
- Experience in Quality Management System improvements and supplier quality management.
