About the Role
As a Quality Engineer, you will be responsible for applying quality engineering principles to ensure product quality. Your tasks will include interpreting safety rules and blueprints, performing statistical analysis, and problem-solving in various working situations. You will work with minimal supervision and must demonstrate a high attention to detail and accuracy.
About You
Required:
- Degree in relevant field of study and 5-10 years’ experience in quality engineering.
- Ability to work with minimal supervision.
- Possess an attention for detail with a high degree of accuracy.
- Advanced computer experience/proficiency.
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, blueprints, operating and maintenance instructions, and SOPs.
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
- Must apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
- Ability to multitask and problem solve involving several variables in working situations.
- Proficient in use of statistical tools and have a strong understanding of Statistical Process Control methodology.
