Magna International is seeking a Quality Engineer to join their team in Montezuma, IA. The role involves ensuring product quality by understanding customer requirements and implementing quality improvements.
About the Role
As a Quality Engineer, you will be responsible for developing and approving gauging for new programs, performing audits, preparing Control Plans, and providing support as a member of the APQP team. You will also be responsible for PPAP sample submissions, scheduling CMM, and coordinating the gage calibration system. Promoting safety and maintaining positive relationships with colleagues are also key aspects of this role.
About You
Required:
- High school diploma or GED.
- One to three years’ experience in Quality Control/Quality Assurance.
Preferred:
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering.
- Ability to do trigonometric functions, geometry, and basic math.
- Ability to read blueprints.
- Intermediate computer skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects.
