Summary
Rockwell Automation is seeking a Quality Engineering Lead to join their team in East Setauket, NY. The role involves providing continuous improvement and quality leadership for the Operations organization.
About the Role
As a Quality Engineering Lead, you will develop, implement, and maintain technical quality assurance and control systems. You will define standards for inspecting, testing, and evaluating the precision and reliability of products, manage the Quality department, and ensure compliance with ISO 9001 quality management systems. You will also analyze customer feedback to drive improvements and interface with various teams to establish business objectives.
About You
Required:
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent years of experience.
- Legal authorization to work in the U.S.
- Ability to travel 5% of the time.
Preferred:
- 2+ years of leadership experience.
- 5+ years of quality engineering experience.
- Certification in LEAN, Six SIGMA Black Belt, CQM, AQE.
- PEO P.Eng. license and designations in ASQ and/or Certified Quality Engineer (CQE).
- Experience in Engineered-to-Order (ETO) Electrical/Electronics systems manufacturing.
- Exceptional oral and written communication skills.
