NHS Scotland is seeking a Quality Improvement Co-ordinator (Nurse) to join their team in Stornoway, Isle of Lewis. The role involves supporting Nursing Quality Improvement Projects throughout NHS Western Isles.
About the Role
As a Quality Improvement Co-ordinator, you will play a key role in the Clinical Governance and Professional Practice Team, working on projects such as Excellence in Care and the Health Care Staffing Programme. You will be responsible for collaborating with frontline teams and external stakeholders to enhance the Quality and Safety Agenda using the Model of Improvement methodology. The position requires travel between sites and may involve significant travel.
About You
Required:
Registered Nurse with relevant experience in quality improvement.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills.
Preferred:
Experience in working with multidisciplinary teams.
Knowledge of Healthcare Improvement Scotland initiatives.
Benefits
Salary range of £41,608 - £50,702 per annum plus Distant Islands Allowance of £1,406 per annum.
Fixed Term or Secondment Post for 12 months.
