Summary
NPAworldwide is seeking a Quality Manager to lead the overall Quality function for their manufacturing organization in Spartanburg, SC. The role involves ensuring that business and quality systems meet customer expectations while driving continuous improvement through Lean principles.
About the Role
As a Quality Manager, you will be responsible for leading and developing the Quality and CMM departments, defining and tracking Quality goals aligned with business strategy, managing the Quality Management System (QMS), and supporting Lean manufacturing initiatives. You will also lead problem-solving and corrective actions, partner cross-functionally to improve processes, and manage the Quality department budget.
About You
Required:
- 10+ years of progressive experience in Quality Management.
- Automotive manufacturing experience, specifically in metal products.
- Deep expertise in developing and deploying Quality Management Systems.
- Strong audit background (Certified Auditor required).
- Experience in IATF-regulated environments.
- Bachelor's degree required (BS/BA).
Preferred:
- CQE and/or Certified Quality Manager.
- MBA preferred.
- Proven leadership and people development capabilities.
- Solid understanding and application of Lean Manufacturing principles.
