About the Role
As a Quality Technician, you will be responsible for protecting food safety and quality by conducting sampling, testing, and documentation. You will ensure compliance with food regulations, maintain safety and legality of food products, and work to reduce customer complaints. Your duties will include participating in inspections, using various measuring devices, and communicating food safety issues effectively.
About You
Required:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Experience in the food industry or relevant training in HACCP.
Preferred:
- Some college science courses.
- Training in a Global Food Safety Initiative (GFSI) standard such as BRC or SQF.
- Good writing, mathematics, and critical thinking skills.
- Experience with computers including spreadsheets.
