About the Role

As a Quantitative Model Development Manager, you will oversee the end-to-end development life cycle of quantitative models, ensuring model risks are identified and managed. You will collaborate with various stakeholders to evaluate and improve models, focusing on retail credit loss forecasting for BAU, CCAR, and CECL processes. Your responsibilities will include managing the model development lifecycle, ensuring compliance with risk management policies, mentoring team members, and advocating for user understanding of models.

About You

Required:

Five years of relevant experience in developing, documenting, implementing, or validating quantitative models.
Three+ years of model development experience using SAS or other applicable software.
Ability to manage projects and a team to successful outcomes.
Strong English communication skills, both written and verbal.
Ability to distill complex mathematical concepts into actionable results.
Strong work ethic and commitment to personal and associate development.
Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
Advanced degree in Statistics, Econometrics, Operations Research, Actuarial Science, Applied Mathematics, or related field.

Preferred:

Master's degree or PhD.
Relevant professional designation(s).
Experience in risk management.
Knowledge of best practices in retail credit loss forecasting, especially for Prime/Subprime Auto portfolio or unsecured credit products.
Familiarity with the current regulatory environment in financial services.
