Summary
TE Connectivity is seeking an R&D Product Development Engineering Intern to join their team remotely. The role involves supporting the mechanical design and development of power distribution solutions for data center applications.
About the Role
As an Intern in the Digital Data Networks Business Unit, you will assist in various stages of the new product development cycle, from concept generation to implementation. Your responsibilities will include managing design specifications, conducting engineering analysis, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to innovate and test new concepts and technologies.
About You
Required:
- High school diploma or GED.
- Currently enrolled in or pursuing a BA/BS or MA/MS Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Electrical & Computer Engineering, or a related field from an accredited college or university.
Preferred:
- Prior internship experience or completion of a major project.
- Basic experience with 3D design application tools, preferably Creo, but candidates with Catia, UG NX, or Solidworks experience will also be considered.
