About the Role
As a Radiology Technologist, you will be responsible for obtaining patient clinical histories, positioning patients for imaging, applying radiation protection principles, performing radiographic procedures, and assisting licensed practitioners with specialized radiography. You will ensure informed consent and complete necessary documentation before and after procedures.
About You
Required:
- Certification and Registration with ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists).
- BLS Basic Life Support – American Heart Association (required prior to direct patient care).
Preferred:
- Associates degree from an ARRT accredited institute.
- State Licensure (unless required by the state).
- 1 year experience in radiation safety and patient care.
- Experience with Radiology Information System.
