As a Radiation Control Technician, you will utilize specialized radiation safety, measurement, and handling principles to perform radiological surveys, sample collection, and analysis. You will work independently on assignments, manage projects, and consult with customers to meet their radiological safety needs. Your tasks will include conducting assessments, audits, and responding to radiological incidents, while ensuring compliance with policies and procedures.
About You
Required:
- High School Diploma with at least 1-3 years of relevant experience.
- Experience in developing radiation protection procedures and technical work documents.
- Relevant experience in radiation measurement, radioisotope handling, and radiation monitoring.
Preferred:
- Experience with Microsoft Office, Google, and health physics applications.
- Experience providing technical advice and training instructions.
