About the Role
As a Radiation Oncology Medical Assistant, you will be responsible for answering incoming phone calls, scheduling appointments, processing patient referrals, preparing examination rooms, obtaining patient vital signs, assisting physicians with office procedures, and collaborating with nursing staff to ensure high-quality patient care. You will also maintain compliance with OSHA standards and ensure that medical information is accurate and available for review.
About You
Required:
- High School graduate or equivalent required.
- Medical Assistant degree from an accredited vocational institution or community college course in Medical Assisting.
Preferred:
- Minimum of one (1) year experience preferred.
- Certified in Medical Assisting strongly preferred.
