Summary
Acuren is seeking a Level III Radiation Safety Officer (RSO III) to support their operations in Midland, TX. The role involves ensuring compliance with radiation safety programs and delivering quality services to clients.
About the Role
As a Radiation Safety Officer III, you will work closely with Division Managers and Operations Managers to meet corporate goals for radiation programs. Your responsibilities include conducting radiation safety audits, ensuring compliance with regulations, providing training, and serving as a liaison with regulatory agencies. You will also manage RSO duties for one office and may perform radiography in the field as needed.
About You
Required:
- High School Graduate or equivalent.
- At least four (4) years of full-time Radiography experience.
- Must meet the qualifications of RSO, including experience in source retrieval and equipment maintenance.
Preferred:
- Familiarity with relevant licenses, Operating and Emergency Manuals, NRC and applicable State Regulations.
- Demonstrated experience as a leader.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
