About the Role
As a Radiation Therapist, you will be responsible for delivering radiation therapy treatments, entering treatment parameters into the EMR system, maintaining patient schedules, performing monitor unit calculations, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to enhance patient care. You will also ensure compliance with safety protocols and maintain an organized work environment.
About You
Required:
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in radiation therapy, preferably in a hospital or clinical setting.
- Graduate of an accredited radiation therapy technology program.
- ARRT certified and must hold a valid state license for radiation therapy.
- Comprehensive knowledge of radiation oncology and related procedures.
- Proficiency in using EMR systems.
Preferred:
- Experience in maintaining patient appointment schedules and handling billing information.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a patient-centered approach.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
