About the Role
As a Lead Radiation Therapist, you will work under the supervision of the Technical Director, responsible for treatment planning simulations and administering prescribed radiation courses. You will also oversee the Radiation Therapists, troubleshoot issues, and ensure quality assurance in the unit.
About You
Required:
- Graduate of a program approved by the Council on Allied Health Education and Accreditation for Radiation Therapy Technology.
- Board certified or board-eligible in Radiation Therapy Technology by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists.
- Current license as required by the State of Florida for Radiation Therapy Technology.
- BCLS certification obtained within 6 months of employment.
- Minimum of two years experience as a Staff Radiation Therapist.
