Summary
RadNet is seeking a Radiology Practitioner Assistant to join their team in Palm Desert, CA. The role involves providing quality patient care and assisting in various diagnostic and interventional radiology procedures.
About the Role
As a Radiology Practitioner Assistant, you will verify and review patient orders, provide complete patient information for interpreting physicians, perform diagnostic and interventional procedures under supervision, assist with biopsies and other procedures, and communicate findings to referring physicians. You will also document procedures, safeguard patient information, and maintain professional behavior in a clinical setting.
About You
Required:
- State License in Diagnostic Radiologic Technology
- State License Fluoroscopy permit
- ACLS certification
- Certification from an advanced academic program through Weber State University (RPA) or a certified/approved program (RA) with a radiologist-directed clinical preceptorship
- Experience in general fluoroscopy procedures including gastrointestinal and genitourinary procedures
Preferred:
- Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with doctors, patients, vendors, peers, staff, and management
- ARRT(R) certification
