About the Role

As a Radiology Technologist, you will be responsible for assessing physician orders for radiological examinations, evaluating patient requests, advising on radiation safety, educating patients about procedures, positioning patients for imaging, and maintaining medical records. You will also perform quality analysis of radiographic images and assist in the education of staff and students.

About You

Required:

Graduation from an accredited Radiography program with competencies in evaluating and caring for pediatric, adolescent, and geriatric patients.
Certification in Radiography by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology.
Active license with Illinois Emergency Management Administration.
CPR - Basic Life Support certification.
Associates Degree in Applied Science, Radiography or Certificate of Completion from a Radiography Program.

Preferred:

Three to five years of experience in Radiography at a healthcare institution.
Extensive computer knowledge.
Experience with clinical research.
Familiarity with radiation safety and related procedures.
