About the Role
As a Radiology Technologist PRN, you will be responsible for taking radiographs, operating radiography equipment, interpreting physician orders, practicing safe radiation protection, assisting in procedures, and providing optimum patient care during exams. You will also maintain professional conduct and perform minor equipment repairs as needed.
About You
Required:
- Graduate of an America Medical Association-approved program in Radiologic Technology or meet requirements for Texas certification of Medical Radiologic Technologist.
- Certified or Temporary Certified by Texas Department of State Health Services as a Medical Radiologic Technologist.
- ARRT (R) Certified with Radiology or registry eligible with understanding that must have ARRT (R) within 12 months post hire.
- Basic Cardiac Life Support or CPR certification must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
Preferred:
- Entry-level graduate Radiologic technologist will be accepted depending on shift and technical responsibility of the shift.
