Summary
ZimVie is seeking a Rapid Prototype Technician (On-site) to join their team in Palm Beach Gardens, FL. The role involves programming, setting up, and operating CNC equipment to support marketing, research and development, and new product manufacturing activities.
About the Role
As a Rapid Prototype Technician, you will demonstrate ownership of project assignments, transforming ideas and sketches into workable prototype devices. You will operate and set up prototype equipment and manage complex project tasks in a timely manner.
About You
Required:
- 10+ years of machining experience.
- 5+ years of experience with CAD/CAM modeling and CNC programming.
Preferred:
- Familiarity with CAM software, preferably Mastercam or ESPRIT.
- Experience with CNC mills, 3 & 5 axis, CNC Swiss lathes, and CNC grinders.
- Knowledge of solid modeling principles, preferably in Autodesk Inventor.
- Familiarity with inspection equipment and methods.
