Dandy is seeking an R&D Ink Chemist to join their team in Provo, UT. The role involves formulating and developing advanced ceramic and specialty inks for digital printing applications.
About the Role
As an R&D Ink Chemist, you will be responsible for designing and optimizing ink formulations, operating and troubleshooting inkjet printers, conducting applied research to enhance ink performance, and ensuring quality control of incoming inks. You will collaborate with engineering teams and vendors to adapt inks for various printheads and substrates, while maintaining detailed documentation and compliance with safety protocols.
About You
Required:
B.S. or M.S., preferably Ph.D. in Chemistry, Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, Printing Science, or related field.
2–5 years of experience in inkjet inks, coatings, dispersions, or printing technology.
Hands-on experience with inkjet printers and printheads.
Preferred:
Experience with ceramic inks or dental materials.
Familiarity with color science and calibration workflows.
Knowledge of FDA or ISO regulatory environments for medical/dental materials.
