Summary
International Paper is seeking a Receiver 1 to join their team in West Sacramento, CA. The role involves performing various tasks related to material receiving and ensuring accurate data entry.
About the Role
As a Receiver 1, you will be responsible for completing pre-start forklift maintenance inspections, recording and inputting weights and bin counts into the Material Receiving System, maintaining daily logs, and ensuring a safe and clean work environment. You will also assist in training sorting personnel and communicate with dispatch and floor leads regarding operational issues.
About You
Required:
- Must be 18 years of age.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States.
- Ability to work any shift and overtime as needed.
- Ability to read, write, and speak English fluently.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to pay close attention to detail and accuracy.
Preferred:
- Experience operating forklifts and other material handling equipment.
- Knowledge of Material Receiving Systems (MRS).
- Previous experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment.
