About the Role
As a Receiving Specialist, you will be responsible for efficiently handling the receipt, storage, and issuance of various parts and materials. Your tasks will include performing inspections on incoming components, utilizing an ERP system for routing parts, executing picking functions for kits, conducting cycle counts for inventory accuracy, and streamlining processes in the shipping and receiving domain. You will also communicate with internal customers and suppliers to resolve discrepancies and ensure a clean and safe work environment.
About You
Required:
- High school diploma or equivalency certificate.
- 1+ years of demonstrated experience in inventory control, warehousing, or supply chain position.
Preferred:
- 3+ years of inventory control experience in a large manufacturing facility such as aerospace, automotive, semiconductor, or electronics.
- Proficient in operating forklifts and other inventory equipment.
- Advanced knowledge of MRP/ERP systems and excellent computer skills including Microsoft Office.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively across cross-functional disciplines.
