New Mexico Department of Health is seeking a Records Clerk to join their team in Santa Fe, NM. The role involves providing IPRA compliance and records management support to the Agency.
About the Role
As a Records Clerk, you will assist the chief privacy officer and chief records custodian in providing records management support and guidance to Agency staff. Your responsibilities will include assessing, classifying, indexing, boxing, relocating, and storing or destroying agency records. You may also assist with gathering, reviewing, and redacting records for requests, and responding to IPRA and records-related inquiries.
About You
Required:
High School diploma or equivalent.
One (1) year of experience in office administration, customer service, records management techniques and procedures, basic accounting, and/or business administration.
Preferred:
Significant experience working as a clerk.
Familiarity with records management laws, regulations, and best practices.
Knowledge of the Inspection of Public Records Act and associated deadlines and exemption requirements.
Benefits
Hourly wage ranging from $18.15 to $27.23.
