About the Role
As a Records Specialist, you will be responsible for reviewing and preparing employee files for back-scanning and digitization, organizing physical and electronic records, digitizing files, uploading records into data management systems, conducting audits, and ensuring compliance with records management policies. You will also collaborate with HR and legal teams and provide guidance to team members on best practices.
About You
Required:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in records management, document scanning, or related roles.
- Demonstrated experience handling confidential and sensitive information.
- Strong understanding of records retention policies and compliance requirements.
- Proficiency with records management systems and document scanning equipment.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively with internal stakeholders.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Preferred:
- Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in Information Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Experience supporting large-scale file digitization or records transition projects.
