HealthRIGHT 360 is seeking a Recovery Coach for their Residential Step Down program in San Francisco, CA. The role focuses on supporting individuals with substance use and related disorders in a short-term residential setting to promote wellness and recovery.
About the Role
The Recovery Coach assesses client needs and strengths, provides individual coaching and case management, ensures safety and security through house runs, facilitates community meetings, performs crisis intervention, documents client progress and incidents, and supports clients in achieving long-term recovery goals. The role includes responsibilities such as facilitating safety trainings, managing medication security, accompanying clients to appointments, and working weekends and holidays as needed.
About You
Required:
High School Diploma or equivalent (bachelor's degree preferred)
First Aid and CPR certification within 30 days of employment
Valid California Driver's License and automobile insurance
Experience working with diverse populations facing substance abuse, mental health, criminal background, and economic barriers
Knowledge of gender-responsive, trauma-informed, and co-occurring treatment
Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office and internet applications
Self-motivated, dependable, creative, and proactive with ability to work independently and in a team
Ability to enter data accurately into electronic systems
Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to handle sensitive information confidentially
Preferred:
Drug and Alcohol registration or certification recognized by Department of Health Care Services (DHCS)
4 years experience providing behavioral health services, preferably for Asian/Pacific Islander community
Bilingual skills
