About the Role
As a Recovery Specialist, you will be responsible for maintaining loan files, processing payment returns, collecting on delinquent accounts, and managing bankruptcy correspondence. You will also support fraud detection efforts, handle credit bureau disputes, and ensure compliance with loan bankruptcy regulations. The position requires strong relationship-building skills and the ability to work collaboratively within the Lending Team.
About You
Required:
- High School Diploma or equivalent job-related experience.
- Minimum of two years of collections and fraud experience in banking/credit union.
Preferred:
- Excellent problem-solving, time management, and organizational skills.
- Expert understanding of credit union or banking products and services.
