About the Role
About You
- Associates degree or 60 credits toward a Bachelor’s degree preferred with a minimum of one (1) year employed as a Recovery Support Specialist I.
- High school diploma or equivalent with a CT Recovery University Certification and a minimum of three (3) years’ experience in a related behavioral health field.
- First Aid/CPR certification or willingness to obtain certification within 90 days of hire.
- Valid Connecticut Driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Experience in health and human services as a Peer Specialist/Recovery Support Specialist.
- Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office and electronic record keeping.

Continuum of Care, Inc. is a not-for-profit, 501(c)(3) organization that has been providing housing and residential support services to persons with psychiatric and intellectual disabilities since 1966. Continuum's Mission is to enable people who are challenged with mental illness, intellectual disability, and/or addiction to rebuild meaningful lives and thrive in the community. Save the community more than $40 million each year through efficient and effective community-based crisis and housing programs.
