Northpoint Recovery is seeking a Recovery Technician - PRN Nights to join their team in Omaha, NE. The role involves ensuring the safety and wellbeing of patients while working with a multidisciplinary treatment team.
About the Role
As a Recovery Technician, you will be responsible for providing direct and indirect patient care, supporting the implementation of care plans, and maintaining a structured environment for patients. Your duties will include interacting with patients, observing behaviors, completing paperwork, and assisting with recreational activities. You will also ensure facility cleanliness and assist in emergency situations while adhering to company policies.
About You
Required:
- Must be at least twenty-one (21) years of age.
- Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record required.
- 1+ year of relevant work experience.
- Knowledge and skills in English usage, interpersonal relationships, and excellent communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to hold strong personal boundaries and build rapport with patients.
Preferred:
- De-escalation techniques.
- Excellent organizational abilities.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Client service oriented (both internal and external).
