About the Role
As a Recreation Assistant, you will assist in planning and executing activities based on residents' interests, complete assessments, document interactions, participate in care conferences, organize events, supervise volunteers, and maintain records of participation.
About You
Required:
- An Associate’s degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school; or six months of related experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Compassionate attitude towards enhancing residents’ quality of life.
Preferred:
- Previous experience in a senior living or healthcare setting.
- Strong communication skills and ability to build rapport with residents and families.
