About the Role

As a Recreational Coordinator Assistant, you will be responsible for planning and coordinating details of events such as Friday Night Hangouts and ACCESS Night Out. Your daily tasks will include ensuring participant safety, providing hands-on support, preparing food, and assisting with setup and cleanup of activity spaces. You will also support participants in developing social connections and teamwork while communicating effectively with the Recreation Coordinator regarding any needs or issues.

About You

Required:

High School Diploma or equivalent.
Minimum of 18 years old.
Previous experience working with children or adults with developmental disabilities.

Preferred:

Strong organizational and planning skills.
Effective verbal and written communication.
Ability to lead group activities.
Knowledge of special needs populations.
