Summary
Hermitage Hall is seeking a Recreational Therapist to join their team in Nashville, TN. The role involves providing recreational activity and related services for residents in the Hermitage Hall program.
About the Role
As a Recreational Therapist, you will oversee and facilitate high-quality residential activity services for all residents, including music-related activities for staff. You will develop and ensure the facilitation of comprehensive social skills programming, schedule and facilitate therapeutic recreation services, and organize facility-wide activities and vocational training programs. You will also be responsible for documentation associated with assigned functions and must maintain a community-safety focus.
About You
Required:
- Master's/Bachelor's Degree in Expressive Therapy, Music Therapy, Art Therapy, or Dance/Movement Therapy with board certification/licensure to work in DC.
- Experience in a residential setting with facilitating groups & activities, scheduling and planning activities, and navigating group dynamics.
Preferred:
- Knowledge of assessment (social skills, recreational skills, etc.).
- Experience in treatment planning and education.
