Trinity Health is seeking a Referral Representative - Hybrid to join their team in Hartford, CT. The role involves providing essential support services for the organization's referral process.
About the Role
As a Referral Representative, you will work under the direction of the Referrals Supervisor, processing and maintaining the electronic Epic Referrals Workqueue, completing pre-authorization workflows, reviewing patient registration, entering referrals into the system, and assisting internal and external customers with referral-related inquiries.
About You
Required:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum of three (3) years’ experience in healthcare preferred.
- Proficiency with all Microsoft products (Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook) required.
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to multi-task.
Preferred:
- Experience within a medical office or billing department preferred.
- Medical terminology knowledge preferred.
- EPIC experience preferred.
