About the Role
As a Reg Respiratory Therapist PD, you will provide respiratory care to patients, conduct physical assessments, deliver medications, respond to medical emergencies, initiate mechanical ventilation, conduct arterial blood gases, document patient interactions, assist with airway management, and maintain respiratory equipment. You will also be required to be flexible in meeting the needs of patients and the hospital.
About You
Required:
- Associates of Science degree in Respiratory Care.
- Valid State of Massachusetts Registered Therapist License.
- Registered Respiratory Therapist credential or needs to be obtained within a year of hire date.
- Life Support Certification (BLS and ACLS).
- Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
Preferred:
- Six months experience as a Respiratory Therapist in an acute care setting.
- Basic computer skills.
- Acute Care Respiratory experience.
- Experience in Pulmonary Rehab.
