About the Role
About You
- Direct large-program disaster experience in a leadership or field operations role on at least 5 disaster response projects.
- 7+ years of all-hazards disaster response or emergency management experience.
- Experience leading multi-agency operations and coordinating with state and local emergency operations centers.
- Strong understanding of Mississippi River Basin hydrology and flood-prone areas.
- Ability to manage staff and equipment in high-pressure field environments.
- Proficiency with field documentation systems.
- Valid driver's license and ability to travel for extended periods.
- Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, emergency management, or related field.
- Experience working with levee districts and waterway authorities.
- HAZWOPER 40, OSHA 30, or USACE CQM certification.
- Background in public works, utilities, or emergency infrastructure repair.
- Experience with operational planning and resource deployment.
