About the Role
As a Regional Float Nurse Practitioner, you will float between nursing facilities, planning, directing, and evaluating resident and employee healthcare. Your responsibilities will include examining and treating chronic and acute illnesses, performing laboratory tests, writing prescriptions, and collaborating with medical directors. You will also manage wound care, educate patients and staff, and ensure compliance with healthcare protocols.
About You
Required:
- Successful completion of an approved nurse practitioner program.
- Current approval by the Board of Nursing to perform medical acts.
- Currently licensed as a registered nurse in the state.
- Current Active, unrestricted APRN license in the state of application.
- Master’s degree in Nursing specializing in Nurse Practitioner programs.
Preferred:
- Experience in wound care management.
- Knowledge of diabetic foot ulcer risk assessment.
