About the Role
As a Regional Maintenance Technician III, you will be responsible for maintaining diesel-powered equipment and plant systems across multiple composting and soil production facilities. Your key responsibilities include leading complex repairs and diagnostics on diesel engines, developing preventive maintenance programs, managing regional inventory, and mentoring junior technicians. You will also travel to regional sites to troubleshoot urgent maintenance issues and collaborate with Plant Managers on scheduling and priorities.
About You
Required:
- 5+ years of experience in heavy equipment or industrial plant maintenance, including troubleshooting and repairs of hydraulics and strong electrical experience.
- Maintaining a valid Driver's License.
- Diesel mechanic experience or certification required.
- TIG and MIG welding experience required.
- Proven ability to lead maintenance efforts and manage multiple priorities.
- Experience using CMMS systems.
- Familiarity with safety and environmental compliance.
- Willingness to travel regionally (up to 50%).
Preferred:
- Technical degree or trade certification.
