Marquardt U.S. is seeking a Regional Supply Chain Head of North America to join their Logistics department in Rochester Hills, MI. The role involves ensuring efficient, cost-effective, and resilient operations of the supply chain in the region, covering both purchasing and logistics.
About the Role
As the Regional Supply Chain Head of North America, you will develop and implement regional sourcing strategies, negotiate contracts, oversee logistics operations, optimize transportation routes, and ensure compliance with trade regulations. You will lead and mentor regional supply chain teams, coordinate with various departments, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
About You
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or related field; MBA preferred.
- 8 - 12+ years of progressive experience in supply chain, operations, or logistics.
- Proven experience in a senior supply chain leadership role (Director, Head of Supply Chain, or similar).
- Strong knowledge of U.S. & Mexican logistics networks, warehousing, customs and import/export compliance.
- Experience with ERP and supply chain planning systems (SAP).
- Demonstrated success in optimizing supply chain processes and scaling operations.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Excellent leadership and communication abilities.
- Ability to manage suppliers domestically and internationally.
- Knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement methodologies (certifications a plus).
