Glean is seeking a Regional Vice President for their San Francisco location. The role involves leading a team of Strategic Account Executives and managing complex enterprise sales cycles in the Southeast Region.
About the Role
As the Regional Vice President, you will be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive regional plan, meeting revenue targets, accelerating customer adoption, and building a robust sales pipeline. You will lead contract negotiations, develop long-term strategic relationships with key accounts, and ensure customer success while recruiting and building your sales team.
About You
Required:
At least 5 years formal sales leadership experience building and leading high performance sales teams.
Strong leadership and coaching skills to motivate and develop a high-performing sales team.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build strong relationships with customers and internal stakeholders.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for data-driven decision making.
Significant enterprise sales and strategic customer development experience.
History of accurate forecasting and business reporting.
Experience closing complex deals and selling into complex organizations.
Ability to uncover greenfield opportunities and build out a new territory.
Experience selling face to face to C level executives.
Knowledge of best of breed software and technical understanding of integrations, APIs, infrastructure management, security, and analytics.
Experience selling technical SaaS and cloud-based software solutions.
Preferred:
Basic understanding of search infrastructure.
Experience with target account selling, solution selling, and using MEDDIC and Challenger methodologies.
Experience selling at a startup or in a fast-paced environment.
