Summary
ABA Centers of Virginia is seeking a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT/BT) to join their team in Fairfax, VA. The role involves supporting individuals with autism and implementing behavior analysis techniques.
About the Role
As a Registered Behavior Technician, you will support individuals with autism in various settings, including homes and community centers. Your responsibilities will include teaching daily living and social skills, collecting and summarizing data, collaborating with clinical teams, and implementing training sessions designed by Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs). You will also perform administrative duties to support operations.
About You
Required:
- High-school diploma or equivalent.
- Must be at least 18 years of age (21 years or older if located in New Jersey).
- Availability during after-school hours, weekends, and holidays.
- Consistent, reliable transportation, a valid driver's license, and car insurance.
- Must maintain clean background/drug screenings and driving record.
Preferred:
- Ability to attend a 40-hour RBT full-time paid training course and pass the RBT exam within 45 days of hire.
- Experience working with children with autism.
