About the Role
As a Registered Dietitian (Nutritionist), you will develop and implement nutrition instruction programs, create educational materials, and teach individuals how to select and prepare foods that nourish their bodies. You will also perform nutritional assessments, provide direct consultation, and conduct studies to evaluate nutrition needs in the community.
About You
Required:
- Graduation from an accredited college or university with a Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Nutrition, Dietetics, Home Economics, Health Science or closely related field.
- Possession of a valid Certificate or Registration as a dietitian as issued by the Commission on Dietetic Registration or RD eligible.
- One year of professional experience in nutrition education and individual counseling services within a community or public health setting.
Preferred:
- Bilingual in Spanish.
- Possession of a Master's degree from an accredited college or university in Nutrition or a closely related field.
