About the Role
As a Clinical Registered Dietitian, you will perform comprehensive nutrition assessments, develop and monitor individualized nutrition care plans, and provide education and counseling to patients and families. You will collaborate with healthcare teams to optimize patient outcomes, ensure compliance with hospital policies, and maintain electronic medical records. The role requires participation in quality improvement initiatives and serving as a nutrition resource for hospital staff.
About You
Required:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Dietetics, Nutrition, or a related field from an accredited program.
- Registered by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (RD/RDN).
- Current state licensure/certification (if mandated by the state).
- Minimum of 2-3 years of recent clinical experience in an acute care hospital setting.
- Demonstrated experience managing patients with diverse, complex medical conditions.
Preferred:
- Proficiency in enteral and parenteral nutrition support.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong familiarity with acute care workflows and electronic health records (EHR).
- Ability to work autonomously and prioritize effectively in a dynamic environment.
Benefits
- Compensation of $32.00-$38.00 per hour, based on experience.
- Travel reimbursement paid at the same hourly rate for time traveling to and from the facility.
- Mileage reimbursement paid at $0.5/mile.
- Flexible work schedule with only 1 onsite visit required per month.
