About the Role
As a Registered Nurse (RN) - Med Surg/Oncology, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality nursing care to patients, ensuring their needs are met based on the competencies of the Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN). You will complete established competencies during the introductory period and perform other related duties as assigned.
About You
Required:
- Graduate of an accredited school of vocational nursing.
- Possession of current Texas State License for Licensed Vocational Nurse.
- Active healthcare provider Basic Life Support certification (ARC or AHA) upon hire.
Preferred:
- Experience as an LVN in an acute care setting.
- AHA PALS certification within 60 days of hire or transfer into role (Emergency Room).
- Completion of S.T.A.B.L.E. – Level 2 Nursery within 6 months of hire or transfer date into unit.
