About the Role
As a Registered Nurse (RN) Admissions Nurse, you will be responsible for planning, developing, organizing, implementing, and directing nursing services for residents. Your duties will include ensuring compliance with regulations, managing medication and supplies, developing assessments of nursing needs, and making nursing assignments. You will also encourage staff participation in training programs.
About You
Required:
- A nursing degree from an accredited college or university.
- Minimum of two (2) years of experience providing direct care in long-term care, restorative or geriatric settings.
- Minimum one (1) year of experience as a nursing supervisor, preferably in a nursing home setting.
- Current CPR Certification.
- Must meet state requirements for relevant licensures or certifications.
Preferred:
- Experience in a nursing home setting.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
