About the Role
As a Registered Nurse in the Cardiovascular Transplant unit, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional nursing care to patients recovering from cardiac and thoracic surgeries. You will work in a 32-bed inpatient unit, learning skills such as cardiac telemetry, managing cardiac drips, and handling chest tubes and external pacers. The position requires working rotating shifts and offers opportunities for career growth and skill advancement.
About You
Required:
- A Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing is required - BSN or ADN.
- BLS provider (accredited by the American Heart Association) required prior to hire.
- Illinois Board of Nursing license prior to hire.
