About the Role
As a Registered Nurse in the Centralized Staffing Office, you will be responsible for delivering care in accordance with established protocols and multidisciplinary plans. Your duties will include continuous patient assessment, providing nursing care, and ensuring compliance with nursing standards. You will also serve as a patient advocate, maintain documentation, and collaborate with healthcare team members to improve patient outcomes.
About You
Required:
- Graduate from an accredited school of nursing; Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred.
- Two years of Labor & Delivery experience or completion of Parkland's Labor & Delivery RN Residency or Fellowship Program with one year of experience.
- Current RN license or valid temporary permit with the Texas Board of Nursing.
- Current CPR and ACLS certification.
- AWHONN Intermediate or Advanced Electronic Fetal Monitoring Certificate or NCC Electronic Fetal Monitoring Certification.
Preferred:
- Effective interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to demonstrate patient-centered behaviors.
- Experience in providing direction to non-nursing staff.
